Sustainable projects in airports
As part of the Master Development Program, the Puerto Escondido and Tepic-Riviera Nayarit airports incorporate innovative strategies for sustainable growth. In alliance with local governments, its new terminals optimize energy use, use local materials and take advantage of rainwater. Puerto Escondido will reduce its electricity consumption by up to 70%, and Tepic will capture more than 10,400 m³ of rain with roofs in the shape of inverted umbrellas. These actions strengthen airports as drivers of economic, social and environmental development.
